Worlds XXVI Event to Hit "Magic: The Gathering: Arena"

For the course of three days, starting on February 14th you can play on Magic: The Gathering: Arena with the decks of the pros playing at the Magic World Championships!

Following hot on the heels of giving players a choice of representative champion for Worlds XXVI, this event actually allows players to pilot one of the decks used by the competitors of the big event, which is going to be held in Honolulu, Hawaii this year (I'd go, but I'm a bit too short on cash to spend money on airfare and lodgings at a hugely-romantic getaway location on Valentine's Day weekend).

World Championship event

Get ready to log on and see if you can play Magic like a World Champion! As Magic: The
Gathering's World Championship XXVI assembles the best in the game to battle for the title,
Magic: The Gathering Arena will put its players in the World Championship hot seat for a special
event starting February 14. The MTG Arena Worlds XXVI Showcase allows players to choose
one of the 16 World Championship XXVI competitors and pilot their deck to victory.

Competitor decklists will be posted on magic.gg prior to the event's start on February 14.
The Worlds XXVI Showcase will be available from February 14 through February 16, during
Magic World Championship XXVI, and offers in-game rewards for winning best-of-one
matches—including Mastery XP and a special World Championship XXVI card sleeve.

The Worlds XXVI Showcase on MTG Arena is a part of Wizards of the Coast's celebration of
the Magic World Championship XXVI in Honolulu, Hawaii—broadcast live on twitch.tv/magic
