NECA Can Finally Talk About Their Alien Covenant Figures, And They Are Awesome

NECA promised that the day Alien: Covenant reached theaters, they could finally reveal what their plans are for figures from the film — and they have kept to their word. This morning, they wasted no time revealing their next wave of figures and products, and they look spectacular.

Lets start with the various items. There will be three different collectibles based on the Neomorph design from the film, including a Head Knocker, a Body Knocker, and a little adorable Scalers version.

But the real main event are the figures. First up: the creature pack. From NECA:

From Alien: Covenant, the terrifying new movie directed by Ridley Scott! This deluxe creature pack includes 6 pieces from the movie that will make for some mind-blowing dioramas, since they're all perfectly in scale with our line of 7″ figures. Set includes: 2 facehuggers, 1 open egg, 1 closed egg, 1 poseable toddler Neomorph and 1 Chestburster. Window box packaging.

I LOVE being able to set up evolution dioramas for my Alien figures, so this is a very welcome addition to the collection. The toddler and chestburster Neomorphs look like they will be fun to pose, and are oddly adorable, as well. And we get two eggs, one open and one closed, so they really have included every possible figure from the film. And look at this packaging! So gorgeous; a giant window box and sweet-looking artwork that wraps around the package. Just all-around great.

From there we get the adult Neomorph. Debuting in one of the more intriguing scenes in the film, this puppy is no joke.

It comes with an alternate interchangeable head and a poseable baby Neomorph accessory, and features over 30 points of articulation and a bendable tail. Window box packaging.

Again: can't say enough about the packaging. NECA have really gone all out on these, and I am going to have to purchase two of everything so I can keep one boxed and one for review/display. I think adding the creature pack to this will make for an awesome display.

Then of course: the main event, the Xenomorph.

Just as great-looking as the others, this Xenomorph looks amazingly detailed and looks awesome in the crouching I'm-about-to-pounce-and-ruin-your-life pose. And I really like the paint on this guy; he looks so menacing.

I am a little sad that none of the human characters from the film are here, but we knew that beforehand. After seeing the film last night, there are multiple humans I need for my collection. Here's hoping that we see them soon — I need a Tennessee NECA!
