New Defenders Pic Pops A Few Questions To Mind

A new fun promo photo hit the web showing the members of the Defenders posing in front of the Funko Pop versions of their characters. In the picture we see Mike Coulter, Krysten Ritter, Finn Jones and Charlie Cox. Marvel's The Defenders just finished filming and will premier on 8/18/2017 on Netflix.

But when you look at the picture, you have to wonder… isn't something missing? Let's take a closer look.

Okay, those are the figures seen in the picture. Daredevil, Luke Cage and Jessica Jones. The obvious question here is… where is Iron Fist. But that has an obvious answer in that the series only  came out a month ago and Funko has been dong these after the series debut. So the obvious question isn't necessarily the important one.

I think the question should be… where are the Pop figures from the Luke Cage series? There hasn't even been an announcement. No Cottonmouth or Diamondback? Diamond Select has already gotten a Luke Cage set of mini-mates out.

And the even bigger question is, where is the Kilgrave Pop? He was announced at the same time as Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, but he hasn't shown up. He's not even on the back of the box. And we've already gotten figures from Daredevil season 2 in stores. Even if he was a store or convention exclusive, you'd think he'd show up on the back of the box.

But hey, it's cool to see the Defenders posing with the figures.
