Kingdom Hearts 3 Has a Release Date- January 29, 2019

Kingdom Hearts 3, the long, long delayed game from Square Enix, will finally be released. Announced late this evening, and two days before Square takes the stage at E3, the game will hit Playstation 4 and Xbox One consoles on January 29, 2019. The announcement was made at the premiere of the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra in Los Angeles. It then went out on social media and predictably exploded.

Kingdom Hearts is one of the most popular game series of all-time. The third game in the series has seen a multitude of delays, causing all kinds of memes and jokes to be bandied about. They even swore up and down that it would release in 2018. Looks like they are going to miss it by about 29 days. The game is rumored to include a heavy amount of Pixar-related worlds, including Toy Story and Ratatouille. Other confirmed worlds include Hercules, Twilight Town, Corona (from Tangled), Big Hero 6, Monsters Inc., and a rumored Star Wars level.

It is to be expected now that Square's E3 conference will include a lengthy, clip-heavy KH3 presentation will be happening. That could be the highlight of the whole week, as fans stare at disbelief at screens that the game is finally a reality. Good on Square for making the announcement ahead of time as well. This takes some of the pressure off going into it, that way everyone can sit back and relax.

Preorders should go live sometime this weekend or Monday. Keep it locked here at BC all week for everything E3!
