And so, when we received a tip that writer Charles Soule dropped an EX-X-XCLUSIVE reveal on superstar artist Ryan Stegman's Stegman and His Amazing Friends podcast, we steeled ourselves and loaded the podcast up on our phone to get the story.
It turns out that Curse Words, the creator-owned series by Soule and Ryan Browne, has[...]
Scott Snyder and Charles Soule swung into the Diamond Retailer Lunch in San Diego Comic-Con to talk about their just-announced comic for Image, Undiscovered Country with Giuseppe Camuncoli – which we are now, apparently, allowed to name It will launch as an ongoing series in November.
And they wanted the retailers on their side at the event,[...]

Superstar comic book writer Charles Soule is tired of being Charles Soule, it seems, and is looking for someone to replace him The author took his newsletter and Twitter Friday to announce plans to randomly select a replacement Charles Soule from amongst his fans for a trial run which could last a day, a few[...]

Superstar writer Charles Soule has revealed what he's doing next after Return of Wolverine: more returning of Wolverine, apparently! In his latest newsletter, Soule revealed that he's working on a 12-part Wolverine story for the relaunch of Marvel Comics Presents, Marvel's classic anthology series that contained serialized and one-off stories from veteran creators and newcomers[...]
This also means that the current series will end with issue #25, wrapping up Charles Soule and his dive into the era of Darth Vader's life directly after the events of Revenge of the Sith His run will wrap up with the current 'Fortress Vader' storyline, telling the history of the creation of Vader's Castle[...]
The video features artwork from the comic, as well as appearances by Akira Yoshida, Jordan White's mustache, and writer Charles Soule.
In the trailer, Yoshida, otherwise known as Marvel Editor-in-Chief C.B Cebulski, makes the case that Marvel totally planned to keep Wolverine dead when they killed him, but Charles Soule had such an amazing story they[...]
Unfortunately, the story Charles Soule crafted is apparently about how Wolverine's claws now turn hot when he gets angry, and, well, there's only so much lemonade you can make when life gives you such silly lemons.
Return of Wolverine #1 hits stores next week With a three issue gap between that and Return of Wolverine #5, we[...]
The Hunt for Wolverine comes to an end, and Kitty Pryde, Iron Man, and Daredevil come together to share what they learned on their investigations. Is it a good read?
Noto's work here is fantastic, and his color work jells with his linework wonderfully.
Daredevil #607 is an unexpected but not unwelcome digression for Charles Soule's book We are returning to an old Matt Murdock cover in a new and almost unnerving way Mix that with wonderful work from artist Phil Noto, and you have a[...]
I get the not-so-subtle parallel to actual elected officials and the pertinence of that context; regardless, it would make for a better story if Fisk was elected legitimately by New York city.
That aside, the Hammerhead headliner is a good bit of fun, and Charles Soule is good at writing Frank McGee and Daredevil as partners[...]
The first leg of the Hunt for Wolverine ends with Daredevil's team finding who may be behind Wolverine's apparent reappearance. Is it a good read?
We do not yet know the release date of this Star Wars epic.
Also, "Fortress Vader" will be an upcoming seven-issue arc in Charles Soule's Darth Vader comic We don't yet know much about the story beyond it likely focusing upon that tower we saw on Mustafar in Rogue One: A Star Wars story[...]
Wilson Fisk is awake, and Daredevil and the Order of the Dragon are making their final stand against the Hand at city hall. Is it a good read?
Wednesday approaches. Which comics are worthy of your pull box? Bleeding Cool is here to help you decide. Read here for the answers.
Daredevil, Misty Knight, and Frank McGee find Cypher injured and bleeding out. It looks like Wolverine did is, and he's hunting them. Is it a good read?
It stinks a little of Deus ex Machina, and yet…it's kind of ridiculously awesome.
Father Jordan was a cool character for the few times he showed up so far in Charles Soule's Daredevil run Making him some kind of demon-hunting warrior priest is so far out of left field that I can't help but like it[...]
It's a bit late, but the Top and Bottom 5 Comics of the past week is here (that's June 6th). If you want to know the comics score for last week, read here.
Psylocke still stands, but can she defeat the Shadow King alone?
Astonishing X-Men #12 cover by Greg Land and Edgar Delgado
Charles Soule's tenure on Astonishing X-Men ends with this installment, and, to its credit, it brings together all the elements that have been present throughout his run on the series.
Admittedly, this is partly because everything that[...]
Weapon Lost #2 finds Daredevil, Misty Knight, Frank McGee and Cypher chasing countless leads on Wolverine. Is it a good read?
Charles Soule has made this run of the series his own and remade it a few times since then, and it's been a while since an issue has underperformed This one doesn't break that streak, and I can recommend it as a result Pick it up.

Daredevil finds Elektra attempting to leave[...]
Daredevil calls upon his friend, Foggy Nelson, to help in his task as mayor of New York City. Blindspot returns not long after, and, worse yet, One Police Plaza comes under attack by the Hand. Does it make for a good read?
Charles Soule has had a lot of experience writing Daredevil by now, so his writing of Matt's thought captions feels very natural.
As you may know, I'm a big fan of Misty Knight, so I'm very happy to see her be a part of this story Nur isn't a bad character either I've never read any[...]
Plus, the twist ending was predictable beyond reason, though it does undo a plot point which had been annoying me.
But, this is a somewhat positive review, so let's move onto the positives.
Proteus is a solid villain, and Charles Soule does him justice He's an immature yet frighteningly powerful being, and he is depicted as such.
This[...]
This descendent may just have to protect that dream.
Hunt for Wolverine: Weapon Lost #1 cover by Greg Land

He goes to work in helping the city fend off the attack from the Hand.
Daredevil #601 cover by Chris Sprouse, Karl Story, and Jordie Bellaire
Charles Soule once more shows his ability to make a relatively low-action issue of Daredevil exciting While there is a solid opening fight between DD and the Hand, most of the[...]
