BC Toy Spotting: NECA TMNT, Funko Galore, WWE, Marvel Legends, and More!
Welcome to the latest edition of BC Toy Spotting! We are in and out of stores pretty much every day, and we figure (ha!) why not show all of our fellow collectors what we are coming across on pegs and shelves. As collectors, we know that staying on top of what is in stores can be almost a full time job, so we are here to help you with your toy hunts and outings. This week we found plenty of new Funko Pops, WWE displays, Marvel Legends exclusives, NECA figures, and more! Let's take a look!
NECA has awesome offerings hitting Targets right now. The main event is by far the four TMNT animated box sets. One Turtle and one villain per box, these are hitting in droves all over the place. If you want them you shouldn't have an issue finding them. Also hitting there are restocks of some Godzilla figures, along with the newest version of Pennywise from 2017's IT.
Also at Target, a new version of the DC Primal Age Batman is hitting displays. Also showing up in quite a few stores is their Captain Marvel Starforce outfit Marel Legends figure. This is an excellent figure and I would recommend picking it up. She ships in solid case packs, so it shouldn't be hard to track down.
Walmarts this week received their first DC Collectibles products under their new deal. First up are blind bag Batman Black and White mini figures. These can be found up by the registers where they keep their 100 Page Giant comics. Also hitting their are new Mattel WWE shippers celebrating Wrestlemania. Elite 63 and 64 are on there, along with Basic Series 91 and 92, Battle Packs, and the Wrestlemania Elites and Basics for this year. Finally, Star Wars fans have a reason to stop this week, as their Vintage Collection Mimban figure exclusive is actually showing up.
Hot Topic has an exclusive Cryptozoic DC Comics Bombshells Mera black and white vinyl figure in stores, and at Gamestop the newest Mattel WWE RetroFest figure is hitting pegs- Hacksaw Jim Duggan! HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Funko had themselves a week of releases. Non-Pops included Rick and Morty Cereal at Hot Topic featuring Snowball, and Morty at Target, their new Cuphead figures at Gamestop, a DC Bombshells box at Target, and Lion King plush.
New Funko Pops this week include new WWE Pops, Men in Black, Hot Topic's Lilo and Stitch exclusive, a new 80th anniversary Batman and Death in the Family Joker (Hot Topic exclusive), Sabrina and Nacho Libre make their Pop debuts, with Nacho restocking finally after the holidays. The Alien 40th anniversary Pops are hitting shelves, as are the newest Star Wars Pops. Two Target exclusives worth seeking out- Wayne and Garth in their hockey gear from Wayne's World, and a Jack and Rose two pack from Titanic.
Speaking of Target exclusive Funko, four new 10 inch Pops are in stores now. Wicket the Ewok from Return of the Jedi, Hedwig from Harry Potter, a gigantic Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon, and Jack-Jack from The Incredibles.
Finally this week, the second Pokemon Funko Pop started to hit stores, as the adorable Bulbasaur can be found now. Happy hunting for these everyone, at least he's not exclusive like Pikachu!
