Forever Collectibles Enters The Fidget Spinners Market With DC and Looney Tunes

Fidget spinners are the hottest toy on the market right now, and like Pogs and Pokemon Go before them, everyone wants to be a part of it.

What is a fidget spinner, you ask? A fidget spinner is a stress-relieving toy that you hold in the center while the other three ends of the toy spin. They're also used as a calming tool to help adults and children with attention problems stay focused. While they have been banned in many schools and offices for being a distraction, that's not stopping people from going crazy for the things. I have never personally held one, but I'm asked about them almost on a daily basis here in my shop.

So, it is inevitable that designer spinners would be coming out, and now we have company Forever Collectibles stepping in to provide DC Comics and Warner Bros. properties. Diztracto Spinners featuring logos from Batman, Superman, Tweety Bird, Bugs Bunny — all of people's favorites. Rich Johnston has already written about their line of MLB fidget spinners, so this feels like a natural next step, especially into the comic book shop market. I gotta believe that these things are not hard to manufacture, as it seems like the market is flooding with them really hard.

Hopefully, stores order responsibly on these things — with anything like this, the market will eventually crash. These DC and Warner-related spinners will be shipping to stores in mid-June.
