The Walking Dead's Negan Is Coming To Walgreens, Chilling Smirk And All

Negan has become quite a layered character in the pages of The Walking Dead comic book. I've really enjoyed the character work Robert Kirkman has put into him the last couple years; it really changed my mind on the character all together. On the show, not so much. While I enjoy Jeffery Dean Morgan, this is the era of the character I don't care for at all. However, they nailed the look of the character from the books, so this new figure from McFarlane Toys looks great!

Negan Walgreens Exclusive Figure:

After ruthlessly executing Abraham and Glenn at the hands of his beloved "Lucille," Negan used them as an example to remind Rick and the other survivors that he owns them and that he now gets half of what they have. This chain of events forces Rick and the group to return to Alexandria to inform the others that Negan is now in charge.

I mean, just from a sculpting aspect, this figure wins. McFarlane has been one of the most consistent companies in terms of sculpts. The other figures in this line have great articulation and pose well, so this one should be no different. This has also been offered before, in a two-pack with poor Glenn. The single carded release here will however be exclusive to Walgreens. Man, Walgreens has become a must-stop destination for toy collectors.

The figure currently does not have a preorder page on the Walgreens website, but it will be up there soon. Negan will retail for $15.99 and will be hitting stores in October.
