Toy Fair New York: The Loyal Subjects Continue Their Blind Box Dominance

One of my absolute favorite obsessions are opening up The Loyal Subjects blind box figures. Not only do they have some of my favorite properties like Power Rangers, Thundercats, and of course Masters of the Universe, they are expanding into a few other licenses that I deeply care about this year.

First, they are doing WWE figures. And they look amazing. On display they had AJ Styles, "Demon" Finn Balor, and John Cena. Classic figures include names like Roddy Piper, Macho Man, and the Ultimate Warrior. There is even a referee! needless to say, these were exciting to see in person and I can't wait to buy them in the fall.

After checking out more of the figures I buy multiple times a week like Power Rangers, Thundercats, and MOTU, I started checking out their new Alien-related figures coming in May. Man is their Xenomorph sculpt awesome. I especially like the green slime one. Plenty of accessories, alien eggs, facehuggers. Yet another line to track down all of.

Horror icons are arriving in May, with multiple versions of Freddy, Jason, and Pennywise. While Regan from The Exorcist does nothing for me, the sculpt on the figure itself is great. The one of her in the bed is fantastic. Hopefully we get a wave 2 and we can get some Michael Myers love.

Finishing up, the Nickelodeon Nicktoons figures should be a big hit with collectors. Every era of Nicktoons is there: Spongebob, Ren and Stimpy, Rocko, even the Wild Thornberrys are represented. The three best figures I saw were Chuckie fro Rugrats, CatDog, and Spunky. I am a sucker for anything Spunky.

Honestly, The Loyal Subjects do such a great job on their figures that I am pretty all-in on their stuff. With so many new figures and new lines coming this year, 2018 is going to be a great year for them. Check out some of their offerings below!
